I need a little help on another issue with the PAce Car. I intend to keep the Q jet on the car. I installed an Edlebrock Manifold, to replace the factory one (L-82) and there is a provision for the choke pipe but the factory one is a different configuration. I briefly looked on Edlebrocks site but the only thing I saw was to convert to electric. Have you guys come across this issue?
I just got an Edelbrock Performer intake (2101) and the choke is made for the type in this picture - not what was on the factory intake (this is just the first pic I found) http://streetperformanceusa.com/i-95...manifolds.html
So I got an electric choke adapter (from Edelbrock) that I'm going to put on this weekend. Edelbrock part#1932 - converts from hot air to electric choke.

The intake manifold you have there is not correct. The 2101 and 3701 match the kind of choke you'd find on a stock 75-80 non-electronic choke Corvette.
I am running the ZZ4 intake on my 78 (10185063), I find fitment is better for the stock accessories. It also has the correct choke setup.
Yeah, I want to correct what I said. The 2101 IS made for the hot air choke.
I just installed The 2101 yesterday and did not remove the part of the gasket to allow the coke tube to be inserted. (I'll remember if there's a next time!!)
Since I have the electric choke adapter, I put that on - not sure which is better - the hot air or electric choke.

That's not what I'm talking about... If you install the electric choke, you have to remove the round choke cover gasket or the choke won't open. There is no "electric choke adapter" for the hot air choke you have shown in your picture - you have to replace the entire choke cover.
