Windshield Wiper Skips......WHY???
I've cleaned the windshield with alchohol...Windex...3 times....installed new blades...and the wipers still skip across the windshield...even when it's completely wet and it's been raining. WHY??? HELP!!!

Do they start skipping above 100mph (just kidding)!
Weak wiper arm springs will also allow the blades to skip because there is not enough pressure on the blades to keep them "seated" on the windshield. Also wiper blades that are too long will cause skipping (I install new blades that are 2"shorter than originals to stop the skipping)
