I hate it, but I do not have a garage and have to keep my C3 outside. Thus, I need a good car cover. Looking through Ecklers, Zip, etc. So many choices and so much $$$.
What do you recommend?
I do not want to cut corners, but is the $150 cover that much better than the $100 cover.
Wolf Noah fabric cover is what I use. It is great. I am already on my second one. The first one was so good some stole it off my car. I got my second on from summit here is the link. The part number is WLF-172-13043. http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...rchType%3DBoth
I'va also got a NOAH cover. I've been very happy with it.
Noah would be overkill if the car is only sitting inside as Noah is more weatherproof and you pay the extra money for that. IMHO, for outside storage I'd definitely buy another Noah cover. (Disclaimer: My car is properly garaged at all times. But I had to store it outside the first winter I had it, thus the Noah cover)

Re: Car cover recommendation (hudman)
I've had a Noah cover for a few years. The car is garaged normally, but I take the cover on trips, here in the UK and into Europe. Works great, and didn't let in a drop when the car stood outside in France a couple of years ago in the worst rain I've seen! And, we even discovered that when it is wet, it can be lightly sponged off so that you don't pack a gallon of water with it when you take it off the car!
I had a "lesser" cover before this, but after using it only about three times when it got wet it started to leak, so I invested in the Noah. Worth every penny! Got mine from Mid America, fits perfectly. Also recommend the cable and lock, so someone else doesn't end up getting the benefit of your cover!
I have one of the thick Noah covers for my C3. Mostly to protect it from dings and the like when it's in the garage and we're working around it. I got one of those UV protectant much thinner ones for my C4. It's usually in the driveway. I wasn't worried about padding and since that gets put on every day religiously I wanted something which rolled up smaller and fit in the rear storage area. I don't think the Noah ones offer as much dust / dirt protection as they have the little pores in them which lets the crud though. I usually drape some old bedsheets over the C3 in the garage to keep the dust out when there's some sanding or other fine dust generating stuff going on. ~Juliet
I went with the Evolution 4 for breathability and cushioning. My car is garage only, so I wasn't concerned with weatherproofing. You can check out Zip here on the forum and get a 5% discount on any of the covers.
