Suspension Upgrade Time!
I am finally getting the suspension of my 80 completed. I've been browsing for springs to complete my setup before getting a professional alignment. MOOG has two coils listed that fit. Both are identical by rate (474 lbs) and installed height (10"). They differ by support weight (1400 vs 1500). I assume the second would be for A/C cars.
The price is right at less than $60 a pair retail so I will shop around for the best price. Is my assumption correct or does anyone have a better suggestion for a frequently driven cruiser? I do a lot of extended interstate driving as well as normal around town driving so I need to consider the ride quality as well as the handling. The car has the original (tired) Gymkhana setup. Thanks!
