Default Bolt size for engine mounts?

While removing the engine mount bolts I noticed that they seemed loose in their holes. I'm talking about the long bolts that go through the mount and the frame. I just want to confirm the correct size. The ones I have are 7/16 diameter coarse thread bolts with a 5/8 hex head and an 11/16 hex nut. This is on a '78. Can anyone confrim this?

sounds about right. Most all chevy mounts use a 7/16" bolt on the motor mounts. The reason they may feel slopply is that the hole in the frame is larger than 7/16 and the mount should have a slot built into it. This is for installation and just in case manufacturing tolerances were a little off.

That's what my 77 has. I would assume they are probably the same?
