Default Uh! Herb Adams hasn't sold suspension components for 15-20 years!

I don't know where a price of $199 would be coming from, unless you located one. Thus I would buy it then! The Tom's Differential and I think Global West have units that have altered geometry or just take a stock unit and slap a spacer under it.

For the links, you could reduce the price by going to Coleman or somewhere and component buying the pieces. You actually could get better parts than the Corvette parts guys sell. The Tom's Differential and Global West are better units than the Corvette parts guys sell!!!!!

I understand that the bars should closely be at the same angle as the half shafts.....Guildstrand sells them too. Thanks.!

for $379 Guldstrand can`t be selling too many, someone who can weld and has access to a lathe should be able to duplicate the kit easily, add a spacer and a plate to the bottom and you saved yourself some money. If your serious I have a guy who can make what you need.....for a lot less than $379

Default If I can get to it!

I will photograph my Herb Adams unit and give dimensions! The Guldstrand unit is basically a 1968 and up stock unit for the bracket and I would get Aurora Heims! I think he has wrench notches in the rods but I like the Coleman full hex units which I can wrench from any part of the length and I don't have to search for the Guldstrand notches, thus I do have a set of those Guldstrand units on I think my 1968 currently. The Adam's stuff is presently off of my 1964 because I will be putting the multi-link back on the car again. I just haven't decided which one (Guldstrand or Greenwood) yet. PS I have an old Kurtco aluminum spacer which were the guys to first think about doing this mod with just a spacer. I can see if I can find that and measure the thickness. That unit has all kinds of pretty machining to make it look interesting, but a plain aluminum block would suffice! Also I can care less what angle my strut rods are at! I like my halfshafts close to straight across inline with the inner and outer axles plane!

And even though the Adam's unit and other stuff is off of my cars currently, I don't sell my Corvette parts!!!!!!!

which is exactly what I have on both my vintage racer and my project racer, modified stock brackets. your live closer to him but I was told Dick sold out and then had to take the business back, I tried calling him many times many months ago looking to buy just a set of toe adjusting screws, I finally gave up and had a local guy make some, no one knew what they were worth and Dick was never there, the one time he did call back he left a message that the screws were sitting on his desk with my name/number yet he still didn`t leave me a price. I was recently told someone in Tuscon was wanting to buy him out but never heard anything more.

Default I thought he was gone awhile ago, because he moved the Porsche guys into the front!

But last time I checked, he was still hanging on, but I can check again when I am up there next. I pass by about once a month.

Also the stock stuff can be made to work perfectly good for racing applications (Strut brackets). I have one that I kind of boxed, so the heims which are secured in by rotational allowing spacers is reinforced from any possible flexing. Might not be necessary, but I just like overkill! I have his hollow bolt with the zerk adjusters, but just might pick me up the standard toe adjusters also (if he is still doing business).

Also he had a young guy in the back that is an internet type guy and was going to revive the business etc., and I don't know if he is still there, so I would ask if he is back there, but I can't remember his name. Calling and asking for Mr. Guldstrand is a hit and miss since he isn't an office type guy and the girl that was there is only prone to go find someone for you if you walk in. It might be one of those relative things!

Default Herb Adams bracket

Basically you could actually just use a piece of square tubing to do his bracket. That is what it looks like to me. It's funny how I have had this thing for 20 plus years and thought it was just this wonderful piece with engineered geometry until I had it in my hand last night! Wow interesting. Go get some square tubing and a grinder!!!!!!!! Drill some holes!!!1

Thus let me know if you really really need the dimensions! If so, then I will measure everything!
