Default cool zip tie trick

merry Christmas to all. I just wanted to say thanks for all the tech tips back when I did my fathers friends 81 corvette you all were a great help.

here is a little trick I discovered while doing the vette motor to help keep the wires where they were supposed to be. I had to get creative as I opted to not have the wires run under the engine. in the video I show clear ties, but it really looks very clean with black ties. enjoy and hope this helps somebody!!
here is the video! let me know what you think!

That's an airplane mechanic trick. Seen that for years, works great.

I did that a couple years ago....the problem I had was when I wanted to remove them...

It is a slick trick though...

thanks for all the great replies im glad you all like it! you see us ford folk aren't all too bad!

I have found that they are easy to remove if you simply take a pair of wire snips and snip the head of the zip tie in half. that way you don't run the risk of snipping one of the plug wires, but watch out for your eyes! it undoubtedly will make like a rocket ship straight for it!

merry Christmas to all!

The only thing is that you can't remove it without destroying it. Zip-ties are pretty cheap, though, so even that's not that big a deal.
