I'm getting ready to install a new fuel tank and wasn't sure if formed fuel lines or roll stock is used for the fuel tank supply-vent lines? I looked on the parts suppliers and didn't see formed lines except for the mechanical fuel pump lines.
Also was thinking about powder coating the fuel filler neck, would this cause any fitment issues with the fuel cap? I bead blasted and painted the neck with high temp paint but hate to put it on since it is going to have a lot of contact with fuel.
Just cut hose off a spool and move on. I do it all the time that way. i also will hang my spooled hose and allow it to straighten out before installing it so I am not fighting a sharp radius. They will take shape in several years.
For the fuel filler neck...get it re-plated....or buy a new one. I would not want powder coating on the inside of the neck.
