Intake manifold ?
can u put a modern say, ls3 style intake manifold onto a sbc 383??, does any company make one to fit??, already got fast xfi fuel injection on my 78 vette
anyone know??

different engine configurations have different bolt up patterns and you always have to be cognzant of the final height with the carb on top.

Yes you can! Find a big stack of Benjamin's call up DART Machinery, buy one of their LS Next blocks for $2500, then buy new water pump accessory drives, LS heads of your choice ( the LS3 stuff is pretty cheap still but not $190 per head like when they 1st came out.) for about $7-9K you can have all your great 383 stuff topped with a LS style end
