this place is full of it, i mean them.back in the day chrysler did a lot of testing of H pipe systems with good results. i however am suspect of x pipe systems.not sure they are anymore than sound control. i have a neighbor with a x pipe in a mustang and it sounds sick, and i don't mean that in a good way. my sidepipes with 2.5" sweet thunder inserts make his car sound like a toyota.

You guys can say whatever , a dyno test shows higher numbers , plus the cool factor a dyno cant show is there with an X pipe.
Teem66, yes, the right side is to close to the trans in my opinion. Forget the reason why we did that. So far no issues. I do not have a trans temp gauge.
As for the H-Pipe info that was posted by Teem66 from Flowmaster, that is one of reasons I chose to add an H-pipe, as well as the advice from many others with big HP muscle cars.
Flowmaster recommends it. I doubt all muffler manufacturers do.
deeper mellower tone both inside and outside of the vehicle and helps eliminate “back-rap” on deceleration." This was my main concern and so far I have not had any issues. It sounds tuff and turns heads every where. Startling un-suspecting people at the gas pumps, is always amusing.
