I wanted to share my headlight conversion progress as I am doing it in steps. I also want to identify that I am doing this after reading this post from a fellow forum member (post is here).

What I have done differently really isn’t much except for less modification, and I re-did the wiring diagrams into PDF (using Visio).
As mentioned I am doing this in steps so I will post as I make more progress (I have a 2 year old son so I have limited time to work on the vette )

1st the Parts needed
• 5 and ¾ inch lights – I choose the same ones from an e-bay vendor as this previous post did:



• Xenon H4 with blue LED Halo Ring
• Relays – I chose Duralast part # 19263 (AutoZone – click here to get to their site/part)
• 12 gauge wire (red, green, black)
• Electrical pigtails, soldering iron, heat shrink tubing, etc.

1st step - Modify the Headlight Seal beam Mounting Ring




After the modification - needed to check for fitment and wiring clearances





Now the side by side with old and new, and then Finally both High and Low.








** Also note – my headlights are not in the car currently. I setup a test jig to test all vacuum components before I install back. The PO had the fiberglass buckets from ecklers...I personally hated them so I took them out and sold here on the forum. Luckily the PO had the original headlights when I bought it so now it’s getting fresh vacuum hose kit, now vacuum components, and now a 21st century upgrade 



Next update will be the wiring and final install.
