Looks like my replacement master cylinder is starting to go bad. The brake pedal will slowly bleed down. I would like to replace it with what I believe is the origional master, which has the bleeder valves on it, unlike most replacements, just to keep the car as origional as possible. Been sitting in my gararge for 15 yrs.
So, anyone know where to get the pitted bore ss sleeved in the Los Angeles, Long Beach or Orange County, Ca. area?
Take a look in Hemmings Motor News. There are always ads in there for sleeving master cylinders. You'll probably have to pack and ship it, though, as there aren't many places that do the masters. Most just do the calipers.

Hi Sf,
I'd recommend sending your master cylinder to Richard Fortier.
He's in Fenton Michigan, but once the m/s is in a box it doesn't know how far it's traveling.

Why not ship it and have it done by someone familiar with the process that comes highly recommended? I would, rather than someone local saying "oops, sorry I ruined your original m/c".
