I have a set of HD trailing arms, stock offset, that I need to replace the bushings on. I don't know their origin, but believe they may have been from Mid America as that is where several other parts were from that I got with a rolling chassis from a guy. I can no longer find them through any of the vendors. The only "HD" arms are all offset. But through some searching around, I learned they are not Vansteel or VB&P. I also noticed that stock style bushings didn't quite look right, which was confirmed in the attached thread.
The bushings do not have any sort of cup and are directly inside of the "tube" of the trailing arms. I measured it at about 1.110" in diameter. Also, one side of the bushing is about 1/3rd the length with the other side being 2/3. Not 50/50.
Any idea what bushing is used and where I would get it?
Maybe VanSteel can sell you the correct bushings if you give him the diameter size that presses into the tube (you can always shorten the length of the bushings if they are too long)
I've got the bushings for those. I bought the guy out of his inventory a number of years back before he retired. Along with that he gave me the source of those bushings. I also have the sleeves made here locally if you need them.

We used to make those but we discontinued them. Sales were so little it didn't make sense to keep making them.
Yah makes sense, most run wide tires. I had the same problem with my foxbody. Found some double adjustable lower control arms I liked, but they only made them offset. And if you don't need the offset it makes sense to me too push straighter if you can and maybe have less deflection or the part be lighter. I am sure my trailing arms are strong enough, just a straighter one could be a bit lighter.
