Default 72 Corvette rebuild

Hi Guys, I'm rebuilding a 72 Coupe, I took the front end out and lost track of where these shims go. I thinking either under the radiator support or under the big U shaped bracket for the front bumper. Can anyone help please.

Hi 72,
Those shims were used on the sides and bottom of the core support AND under the large horse shoe shaped bumper brace as needed, (some cars have none); so……?
I think you're going to have to start putting things back together, (including the hood and bumper), to see what the gaps are like to know where the shims may be required.
Regards,
Alan

Thanks for the reply and good advice. I'm almost ready to re-assemble although the rad support is already in place, I wonder if there should be a gap under the rad surround to allow rain water to drain out. I guess I will suck it and see. Cheers Greg

They are used where Alan said. But I would guess up top where the u bracket supports the front bumper in the center, if the bolts where with them. But this is just a guess.
