Default What do you think

I wrote summit and told them that I had a stock 81 with true duals, smog removed and wanted to keep the stock carb and computer and intake and wanted to give it more giddy-up and go. Here is there recommendation: Edelbrock aluminum heads #60909 and Summit cam and lifters #SUM-K1102. This looks like around a $1700.00 + upgrade. What do you guys think????????

Can't speak to the integrity of the match-up of parts they recommended; but those are the right parts to change for better performance.

The Q-jet will still have enough capacity to handle the additional load and the computer system should will still function just fine with those changes.

Many thanks for the reply. Was really looking for a kit that included heads, cam, lifters, pushrods, timing gears etc. etc and gaskets. I know that they make them. Just can't figure which set to go with. I have seen full top end kits for that price
