Seeing a C3 is 15' 4" long(roughly), 20' is enough room to get it in there and close the door
From: I tend to be leery of any guy who doesn't own a chainsaw or a handgun.
Mine's a 20' with a vee nose. Plenty of room for the car and two sets of spare tires and tools in the front portion, plus a bunk bed in the vee. The twenty footers are also easier to maneuver when driving through the parking lot at a fast food joint on the road.
I've hauled my Vette to the track in a 20 flat nose for years and it was close. I just like the room for a tool box, wheels and spares.
What really sucks is they did not put a door on the drivers side. Bob tails are also the best for getting low cars in. Unless you can find the low rider trailers made for real flat bottomed cars.
I have seen a trailer that somebody custom made side tire ramps that angled the car up and cleared in the inner raised wheel wells. Dual purpose to work under the front of the car in the trailer. really nice
