Can someone post a pic of the passenger side washer line, how it is attached to the wiper arm and how the tip points on a 69 please? The tube at the end of the washer line was held to the wiper arm by a riveted slide fastener but my line is bent and no matter what, seems to stop the door just a shade high and would like to see how the line was originally formed and mounted.
Thanks guys!

Hmmm-I am slightly curious myself. My 70 just barely touches when it closes no matter what. I am starting to think you must have original blades and correct refills or it sticks up just a tiny bit too much.
Hi,
These pics are from my 71.
I believe they're accurate for 69 and 70 too.
Some replacement blades do seem to cause a bit of clearance problem with the wiper door. More often it seems that problems are cause by the use of later arms or arms that have been bent in some way.

Alan
Thanks Alan! Great pics once again. That's what I was looking for. Mine has separated from the top clip and the nozzle was slid under the clip and is bent so now I can at least get it in the right position. The clip sets are rather expensive at about 16 bucks a side.... I used repro wiper arms from C/C and they are exactly the same as the originals so I guess I caused the problem. I hate those wiper doors and don't want to even look at it but since it will not close right down, it doesn't hit the stop causing a constant vacuum so I have to get the arms right before I play with the door and the stop. Ah well...

Hi CG,
When the wiper door and wipers are working it's magical to watch… but they're often difficult to get working well.
I think it's because the system is a combination of mechanical, electrical, and vacuum functions!!!!

Alan

It took me 3 hours Alan but everything is back to normal.
I actually remember this system from 1969 and the more you play with it the more problems you have. Well, you get the idea. If you look at it sideways it will quit. Thanks again for the pics!
