Diff code decipher.

Trying to determine what I've got. Appears the diff has been changed. The stamp is O H 285 W 8 E, so any ideas. Thanks

Hi H,
The first 2 letters are the ratio code. OH 3.55:1
Used in 78-79
W is the axle plant: Warren Motive
E is the positraction source: Eaton

285 is the day of year made (Oct 15 ?)
The 8 after W is for 1978

Probably should be another number after E for the shift.

Bottom of the diff. housing in front of the cover and Leaf springs. May help to use your phone to snap a pic if you jacked it up. I was to close to read with or without glasses.

You should be looking for something that looks like this.
This is a 71 differential stamp. It went into a car built in mid-January, 1971
LR…3.36:1
W…Warren Motive, axle plant
12… Julian day of the year
E…Eaton, the positraction source
1…the shift it was produced
