electrical problem
Ok so I inherited a 1978 Vette that my dad brought new back in the day. The issue that I am having is that the windows will only go down if I manually push them down. Can somebody help me figure out what's wrong so I can fix it.

Posts lacks a little info, but I think you will need to remove a door trim panel. Do you hear motor operating either or both ways using switch? Check condition of regulator - rusty? and connectors both switch and motor - corrosion?

It sounds like a lubrication problem. If you can operate the switch and then push the window down the tracks probably need attention. A little WD40 or light lubricant sprayed down the tracks with the windows down might help.
