More details please. I come from a world were we all use Offset. Backspace is old school.

So if zero isn't correct should it be -12mm.

The shop said they would fit though.

my Rev Classic 100s are -12mm and fit perfectly

they didn't have -12mm in 18x8, so I went with 17s. correct offset was more important to me than wheel size.

I originally called Coys and they had told me it was going to be a 4 month wait for 18s. this was last year. I needed new tires ASAP so I found the Rev classics and went with those
