Always Something
Good morning all, have another issue with vette. Has my mechanic install the new can and timing chain. Car runs great except when I want to get on it, it goes flat. Exchange the carb and same thing. So any idea's??
Has me and my mechanic stumped.
L-46 350-350 Power everything. Holley 770cfm ultra had a 750cfm on her before.

I'll run the risk of being Capt. Obvious. Have you checked, with the engine off, to make sure you're getting full throttle opening at the carb when the gas pedal is on the floor?

secondaries opening too soon.
change the spring to a heavier spring so secondaries don't open as fast.
hollys generaly come with a lighter spring for midsize (heavier) cars
also make sure your secondary "shooter" nozzles are giving a good shot when you slam it wide open
