I have for the last 30 years or so had jute/felt padding under the carpets for sound deadening of the headers/side-pipes.
I have 4 rolls of this duct-work insulation/heat/shield stuff.
Is there much of a difference between this stuff and the fancy heat/shield insulation kits other than being Lazar cut and neat printing?
Would the foil help with the sound/heat any better than what i have now?
Have to do some rewiring so might as well remove the felt and try the foil out.
