It's held in place by 2 bolts, 1 on each end of the inboard side of the caliper. I would suggest that you pick up a GM shop manual which will help you with this and many other projects pertaining to your car.

Forgot to mention that you'll also need to unscrew the brake line. Have something handy to plug it so that you don't have brake fluid all over the place.

You will need a breaker bar and a 6 point socket for the two 5/8 inch bolts and a flair wrench for the brake line fitting and this is a good time to replace the rubber line.

If you want to rebuild the caliper yourself, it may be easier to break loose the caliper half bolts when the caliper is still on the trailing arm. Then remove the caliper from the bracket. By this time, most C3s have had stainless steel sleeved calipers installed. So, if that's the case, you can buy a soft parts kit and rebuild it yourself.
Might be easier to just buy a rebuilt, SS sleeved caliper from VB&P or SSBC. The O ring design calipers tend to be able to tolerate a bit more rotor runout than the factory lip sleeve type.

A few tips. If one caliper is bad, there is a good chance that the other three are bad. Also, before you remove the calipers, break the bolts that hold the inboard and outboard halfs together. Once the calipers are on the bench, it is really hard to do without air tools. Consider using O rings and new pistons after stainless steel inserts are installed. Jerry
