Did I screw something up? Need help.

yet. As I drove it around the block on a test drive, I could hear
scraping and the tires "grabbing" the road (sort of like new tires
on a show room floor), plus the steering was terrible. Got back in the driveway and  the top of both front tires are obviously leaning in at the top.
(Is this toe-in or negative camber?)
I know an alignment is recommended after replacing tie rods,
but will replacing tie rod ends create THIS much of a difference?
On the trip around the block, the front end was noticeably lower
to the point where I thought I had a flat tire.
Any help would be appreciated!!!
this way i can safely drive to the alignment shop.
it will cuase that much of a difference if you dont adjust it to the same length as when u took it out.
;)
