Default My 1978 Corvette

I have a 1978 vette, 350 auto. Car been sitting for yrs. I now have a wet floor on passenger side with anti freeze. Is it possible to shut of fluid going to heater etc. in dash, so it will not leak on floor? No mechanic here, and know very little. Do not plan using car in winter, and just would like to stop the loss of fluid, possibly putting a shut off valve inline? please text me at 412-780-5998 or email me with any help u can give me at lippyscollectables@juno.com. Just enjoy taking car out once in a great while, but now scared to. thanks, JIM

Yes. You can either disconnect and cap off the heater hose inlet and outlet on the engine, or install positive shut-off valves in both lines.

you need to change your heater core, if you drive where it gets cold
