Exhaust help
Changing out my 71's exhaust from 2" to 2 1/2". Does the tranny have to be supported or lifted a little when changing out the center exhaust hanger bracket? It's a 4 speed car.

When changing out that exhaust bracket it helps to remove it and the trans mount together rather than trying to get just the bracket out by itself.
So yeah, ya gotta jack up the trans a bit.
