I have one numbered AWW277B2.

This all fits through the AWW277...
AW - 3.08
W=Warren plant
277=day of the year

but the B2 has me a little confused. E2 would be Eaton posi built on the second shift, but B2???

Not sure what a B2 is except that this is a California car that had the CDJ engine with the AIR system and the TH400 tranny was designated as NB2. Not sure what that would mean as far as a rear end difference though

Or I'm just reaching and the B2 means something else that I have not been able to decode yet.

Any help appreciated.

Well, need to get my glasses updated I guess, borrowed my wife's glasses and checked again. It's an "E2". Sheez.

Am I out of my quota of silly questions?
