Default Adding fiber optics

I've got a '69 with an HID kit in the front and no boots for fiber optic cables in the rear, but my wiring harnesses are still there with good transmission through the cable so I'd like to get the system working. Anyone try to add fiber optic connections to light housings that don't already have them?

The fiber optics provision for the headlights are in the connectors to each lamp. The problem is that the newer light capsules do not have the nipple on the rear where the fiber optics once got its light source.

On the rears, you can purchase reproduction lenses and boots.

That was exactly what i was getting at. My housings don't have the connectors for the fiber optic cables on them. I was trying to see if anyone has had some success with adding some kind of aftermarket fiber optic connection. Hopefully someone here has some experience with terminating these cables and could provide an industrial solution so we're not reinventing the wheel.

Hi t,
The front parking light housing in 71 has nothing but a drilled hole.
If you can round up the rest of the pieces… really only the grommet you may be able to make it work on your 69.
Regards,
Alan
