I started to trace a couple of the wires, and it seems like they are all "tapped" into different circuits...
I'll dig a bit more over the last couple days, But I am thinking this might have been assembled by a PO for a tow hitch (although there is no physical evidence of a tow hitch having been installed)?
Definitely does not appear stock, so I may trace each wire and just "undo" the installation of it...that is, if it does not appear to be "integrated."
