Hi all, my parking brake does not have any effect on my car when I pull the lever up. I changed the parking brake shoes but and all cables are connected and the mechanisms to activate them do engage. Appears just not enough. Can anyone let me know if there is a way to adjust the lever and cables for the parking brake? Thanks.

Caution: It only works when parked!
At the wheel lift the screwdriver from the floor until the wheel is tight then back off 7 to 9 teeth. The half shafts and differential will give some resistance but the wheel should turn without serious drag.
Next go under your Vette to where the cable adjuster is and tighten it up some.
The PB should hold on the 14th click of the handle.
You survived changing the PB shoes and got the hold down on the spring so this will be easy for you.
