It only took 31 years....but
the last of my original T3 head lights blew. Drivers side high beam. 31 year for it to go. Why can't eveything last that long? Maybe I'll put it up on ebay...should get a ton of money, afterall is is origial. :lol: :lol: even if it doesn't work.

What is the reserve price on it... or is it like most reserve auctions on eBay, its a secret until someone meets it. (Why not just make the starting price the lowest price the seller would sell it for and cut the crap... opps, wrong forum for my eBay ranks / comments :lol: :lol: :lol: )

My T3 low beams are still working... :cheers: I love "old tech."
Maybe when they go I'll look into a true HID system...not one of those ghetto over the counter jobbers that is illegal ("cool blue" headlights are illegal).
I'd like to do it using the "fixed mount" headlights like on the LeMans L88s.

My step father is 87 years old and worked on Lamp Division Technology at Westinghouse for 40 yrs. He told me that a bulb could have been made that would last forever back in the '40s. Of course the reason that this isn't done is because replacement ones would never be sold.

Hmmm, my 66 (36+ years old) still has all four of the original T-3's and they are all working (now that i've said it they will likely burn all out in the next week or so).
