Ahhh...NOS. Stock. OEM. That engine (although 190 HP) came with that car from the factory, and I wanna keep it that way.

Now the 383 I'm building for it has Crower 1.5's



Once swapped out, I'll rebuild the factory motor, and depending on several factors, will decide on shelving it or installing it back in.

In that last picture of your 383 engine, I see airplane parts in the background.....watcha got?

I have a Piper Pacer in my shop being worked on now.

Ahh...a REAL pilot (taildragger qualified!).
I don't own a plane now. Bought a brand new C-152 in '80 and used it to get my Private, but sold it shortly afterwards. I rent them now. An old timer told me once: If it flies, floats, or fuc#s, yer better off renting it Steve. Good advice.
But it's a maintenance hanger at an FBO I CFI out of, at KSDM. I think that's a cowl off a Grumman Lynx or Cheetah, though I don't recall seeing one out on the ramp.

For the 60 dollars the rockers cost and they unbolt easily, I don't see a downside.
