I have a 68, I had a bad wheel stud up front and needed to replace it. I ordered doreman wheel studs for my car from summit. I got the old one out easily and put the new one in.....it seems the splines are not fat enough and its not snug in the hole. Any ideas?

yea, go to a real auto parts store with your old one so they can find you a correct replacement.
Went to a bunch, the closest they could find was discontinued. Went to the Chevy dealer and they said the stud was discontinued in 2003.....still at a loss. Any help from the experts at Willcox would be appreciated.
Go to Dorman's website and look up what you need. The 610-259 has a .475 knurl. You said it is too small. I looked on Dormans application chart and they call for the 610-259 for the corvette. It possible your hub is worn out. You could look on their website and look at the different size to find one that might work. You want one that is 13/4" long. 7/16-20 threads and a knurl that is thicker than .475. Maybe around a .555 and grind a hair or two off of it. Its got to be very tight, but not too tight. If that doesnt work, gonna have to get a new hub.
Now I looked up on the interweb and 3910340 is the oem gm number. and there is a few on ebay for sale.
