The "harmonica" connector (so-to-speak) is not in the engine compartment.
The connector for your turn signal switch is under your steering column...and is BLACK and is a single row of terminals that looks like a harmonica.
In the connector...at one end of it...you will see a black wire...then a pink wire...then a black wire again. That 3rd wire in (the black one) is the wire for your horn. SO...if you ground it...and your horn relay is good (which is by your fuse panel area)...and your fuse is good...and the horns are good and grounded well...the horn should blow.
It will depend if the upper contact is good down the that black wire in the connector. often times I have seen the spring in the turn signal switch go bad and thus loose contact and make it so when you press the horn button...it will not work.
This is simple diagnostic....for me at least ...I must have done at least a hundred over the years. Having a wiring diagram would be helpful to you along with a volt/ohm meter.
