Default Cylinder Head Build

I'm installing the stock GM valve cover studs into aluminum heads for this 383 engine I'm building. I am concerned with what I should use with the installation of these studs.
Should I use a Loctite product, or and antisieze grease, as dissimilar metal consideration come to mind?
I do remember how easy/nice it was to remove these studs from the stock iron 882 heads they came from.

Thanks in advance.

Steve

I think you should use some RED Loctite (the permanent stuff). There will be difference of expansion coefficients between the heads and studs, and they will loosen unless you fix them in there.

For what its worth, heat will aid removal of parts installed with Loctite.

By the way, glad to hear you replaced the 882 heads.
