Default GM serpentine and cs130 help needed

Installed GM serpentine system and needing little help with the alt. Bought one of the plug and play connectors from NAPA with the built in resistor but not sure what to do with factory alt ground. Do i bolt it to alt with the 1/4" bolt for support bracket?

Also, the terminal for power wire is hitting valve cover. I can cut it shorter but still not sure if i will have room to remove the nut and install wire. Other option is to clock alt so i can install power wire but then i cant use 1/4" hole for support bracket.

Can anyone show pics or help with how this has been handled in the past.

Thanks, Kevin

Hi Kevin,
Yes, the alt ground on mine is bolted to the support bracket.
I most likely have different valve covers then you, but clearance on mine is very limited as well. Barely enough to get the nut in between the stud and valve cover.

Reclocking the alternator will work. I'm not using a support bracket, no problem.
