Ok. I really am intrigued to know all I can about the traction bar that looks like it came on the Baldwin Motion Corvette. I would like to know how it would work and the benefits of it. I would also like to have one on My vette. I dont know what my fasination is about it, but it has my attention. I have seen a couple different pics of one, most recently the Lakewood Industries version of one. I saw another member had one for sale on here, and I have sent him messages, but He has not replied. If I cannot find one for sale, one I can afford, I would like to make one. If anyone here has one and could give me measurements and how/ where its attached at the front I would much appreciate it.
Southside Machine used to make the "traction" or "lift" bar for the Vettes.
Basically it stabilizes the center section. Guldstrand offered a kit with solid aluminum bushings (that I installed) that does essentially the same thing.
BTW, if you have a rear crossover pipe, as you may, the traction bar will be in the way.
