Side pipe headers for 81 big block conversion
Hello.
I apologize if this has been asked before, I searched and couldn't find anything…
I'm in the process of restoring a 1981 corvette and swapped the engine with a 427 big block. I didn't plan on running side pipes but now I'm starting to like the idea.
Does anyone know if any of the available headers will fit this year corvette with the engine swap?

Side headers wont flow quite as well as regulars, But are so much more fun. Enjoy!

Sidepipe Headers
Jeg's has Hedman Sidepipe Headers under part number 68210. These fit 63-82 Corvette with Big Block and are painted for about $210. Coated versions are also available.
I'm sure Summit also has these.
I have these on my car and the fit is perfect. They don't touch anything and were the easiest header install I have ever done.

I bought a set of Hooker sidepipes for my small block. They sell them for big blocks also. I believe the side tubes and inserts are the same for both.
