4 Bolt...not 4 Barrell
Ok....i was wrong. I was reading about carbs and wrote barrell instead of bolt. My 76 now has a 4 bolt. What exactly is a bolt and what is the difference. Thanks alot.

That's the number of bolts on each crankshaft journal. Most engines have one on each side of the journal (2 per journal) and high performance engines have two on each side (4 per journal).
