CRC (Corvette Rubber Company) is often mentioned as the best weather stripping. It s NOT imported. Willcox runs frequent specials on the Forum and carries CRC. Give him a call.

Yes, CRC is often mentioned as the best, best fitting, etc. USA made. If you search the forum though you'll find that it seems the only cars that have issues with the CRC weatherstrip are the 68's on the doors. It is high quality, in my opinion, but I had a major issue with the CRC weatherstrip not fitting correctly on my 68 convertible doors. It's just too thick. Even the decklid is kinda hard to latch but I expect it will settle over time. The door weatherstrip absolutely would not allow my doors to close and was bunching up at the front. Remember, 68 doors are one year only.

I ended up buying some latex 68 door weatherstrip from Ecklers, and it fit great. Since I just got the car back from the body shop a few weeks ago, I can't vouch for the longevity of the latex weatherstrip I bought.

I prefer the LATEX my self...and it HAS to be imported due to the process to manufacture can NOT be done in the United States...and why it was made back in the day for GM in Canada. The chemicals are not allowed in the states. And the latex is NOT being made where darn near everything is being made today...and we all know where that is.
Unscramble the letters to spell the country where the LATEX is NOT being made. CHAIN

But as always...to each his/her own when it comes to weatherstrips.
