Default Rear Spring

I was just investigating the slight lean on the driver side of my 73 (always thought it was me) and noticed that the end of the rear spring is bent upwards! Likely a Bubba jacking issue in its history.
Now along with a pile of original parts the PO passed along was a brand new spring with new bushings; I guess now I know why he had it! The issue I have is that, through a google search of the part number, it comes back as Heavy Duty 78-82 Corvette (Triangle Spring #21-377). It measures 2 1/2" wide and is 10 leaf. Am I correct in assuming this will not fit my 73 (2 1/4" stock)? Can someone suggest a stock height/ride replacement?

Thanks,

Tim

I have a 78 but forget how wide the spring is. 2.25" sticking my mind for some reason.

Hope th link works. Lots there. Steel and fiberglass.

I had a new to me, low mile 330lb fiberglass in mine this past winter. Rides nice. Argues sieve driving or autocrossing, it might be too soft.

I just checked my 73 and it is a 9 leaf 2-1/4" spring.
You can check this at Corvette Central:

My 1978 10 leaf was stock @ 2 1/2"
for 1978 a 7 leaf gymkhana spring was offered and is 2 1/4"
to use the 2 1/2 spring on a original 2 1/4" diff carrier I think you would need to replace the diff carrier, but since most new mono leaf springs are 2 1/4" so not sure which you prefer, replace the spring or replace the diff carrier. Also all 2 1/2 10 leaf springs for 78 is the softer riding spring vs the 7 leaf gymkhana spring.

Not wanting to go fiberglass, I went with an Eaton Spring brand steel 9-leaf to replace the worn out stock 9-leaf on my '72.
While not an exact copy, it is close. I took it apart and painted the leaves dove gray to match the original color. I have been very happy with it.
Here's a pic after I painted it:
