Unknown plug on console harness

Unknown plug on console harness

Can't find anywhere to plug it in, it's in the same harness as console plug on my '82:

Have any of you seen this one?

Looks like the plug for the small gauges in the center.

All 4 of them and the clock work, and there's no place to plug it in to the the gauge cluster. I wonder if it was for a radio option.

Looks like the oil temp gauge wiring connector....since you have a clock it's not used...so if you want to add an oil temp gauge (and delete the clock) the wiring is already in place...Good Luck!

Thank you! It makes sense that it would be for that, I guess they just used the harness that they had on hand when they built the car.
