I am looking at using a MSD 6AL2 programable for my ZZ383.
I have 1 question for anyone that has done this for his C3.
MSD recommends a 1 BAR map sensor PN 23111 for naturally aspirated cars, yet this part is discontinued. I believe a stock GM map sensor (80-89 camaro) will also work if you remove the tabs in the connector. Are there any other options that just plug in, or other 1 BAR Maps sensors that are available ?
Thanks after reading this I went to look at a MAP sensor from those years they look correct but they don't plug in as the link shows. A key in the connector is 90 degrees off and you would need to break the key off. Then of course not 100 % sure it will work. Might need to call MSD and see what they say ?

Is there anything special about that 1 BAR MAP sensor? There's millions of GM MAP sensors in junkyard cars, along with the harness, that you can pick up for probably two bucks.
