What is this part?
I cannot remember what in the world this part is and would appreciate some help in it's identification. If memory serves, the end with the bracket mounts on some bolts that also hold the TH400 transmission pan in place, on the driver's side. Not sure where the other end of the cable goes but think it has something to do with the steering column someplace. I am perplexed.

Thanks, my memory is coming back now.... I also recall being told that I don't need this part back on the car. I knew there had to be a reason I did not reinstall.............
