Chrome Cleaner and polish???
I got a set of chrome valve covers for my 81. What can I use to clean and polish them that will NOT leave smear marks all over them? TIA

If chrome is in good condition.....
Best product I have found for detailing chrome is BRITE SHINE.
An alternative name for similar product is NEVR DULL
Cotton wadding material impregnated with a solvent to remove tarnish and when rubbed over the chrome it really cleans it up. Allow a minute to dry and then polish up with clean dry cloth. Chrome comes up a treat.
