installing interlock cable
The interlock cable is missing from my '76. This is a cable that connects to the steering column and transmission. However I have no idea how or where this cable connects. Can someone tell me how to install this? Thanks.

Hi 76,
On a 4-speed car these are the 2 connections for the cable. One at the steering column and one at the transmission.
For an automatic car the connection at the steering column is the same but the connection at the transmission is slightly different.

Cable at first bracket on side of transmission:
Cable at second bracket on side of transmission and connection to pin on reverse lever:
