1977 Valve covers.
I sent my aplication and pics in to apply for collectors plates and failed because they said my valve covers are not origanal [aluminum L82covers on my L48 engine]did they not put L82 in 1977?

No collector plates because the valve covers aren't "correct?!" Sorry man, but that's just kissing stupid--some a-hole bureaucrat hyped up on Tim Horton's coffe and doughnuts and an overblown sense of his or her own petty little authority. :rolleyes:
