454 belts
anybody have part# for a big block using 74 454 pulleys I need water pump to crank, alternator to water pump and power steering belts the counter guys cant get me what I need even when I give a lentgh

Geta. Quanta Corvette parts catalog....they have diagrams of the belt configurations for most C3 .
I know they have the 74 454 C3 belt diagrams, GM part numbers, and all the original style belts with GM logos for your car.

Take a long belt, cut it and wrap the belt around the pulleys and mark the belt where it overlaps and the use any measuring device you have and simply measure it....any other questionable belt sizes repeat the above method
Most discount stores don't have a clue...
I would suggest buying them locally rather over a computer...You would get better results and top of the line belts are Gates, and Dayco,
but, whatever......
