Default Sway Bar

I got a new sway bar

Ive only replaced the sway bar links by jacking the car up by the control arm on side at a time. With replacing the sway bar do I compress the control arms at the same time with jack stands?

Both control arms have to be completely unloaded to swap the swaybar. Just jack the car up using your stands under the frame just behind the front wheels.

Which bar did you purchase?

I just find its easier if you support the car by the frame and allow the front suspension to hang down. Even if you have it supported under each arm there might be the slightest imbalance which would make installing the end links harder than needed.

I just reinstalled my front bar yesterday!

alright did it! had to line up brackets on the sway bar and handle tighten them first so it was just held. then we had to install the links with a jack compressing the control arm. had to hit the bar with a mallet to line up the sway bar links or one side will be bent. sow e went back and forth tightening the links before securing the sway bar to the frame. car still pulls to the left however awaiting alignment but can feel difference already.

it was hot
