Dim Panel Lights
On my 79 L82 the panel lights are really dim. Turning the dimmer switch dims them even more but I can never get them high enough to see the gauges in twilight. Is there a brighter bulb I can use? Of course I guess the dimmer on the headlight switch could be the problem. Any thoughts?

Lots of info on that subject here on the forum.
I replaced the bulbs in my '81 with 168 bulbs. They are 1 candlepower brighter than the 194 bulb which is what the factory put in.
If you really want to brighten things up put led replacements in. Again lots of info here on that subject also.
